These wonders were chosen by millions of people in 2008. Because six of the seven wonders of antiquity do not exist in their original state. Therefore, there was a need to select seven new wonders of the world. 1. Great Wall of China:
The wall is located on the historic northern shores of China, China. It leads from east to west. This wall was built in 700 BC. Its purpose was to stop the Mongols from coming from the north and to avoid their attacks. This wall was built over many centuries. In the beginning, almost every province built its own wall. The Chinese emperor Qinshi Hong built all these walls in pairs between 220 and 206 BC. The wall he built is now very small. The wall was repaired from its beginning until 1700 AD. Most of the wall we see today was built by the Ming Dynasty in 1400 AD. According to a survey, the wall built by the Ming Dynasty is 8850 km, while the ancient and original wall is 6259 km, 359 km long trenches are also present in it and 2232 km long natural wall such as mountains and rivers etc. are included. According to another survey, the wall is 21196 km long.

By the time of Shah Jahan, the great Mughal empire had spread to almost the entire subcontinent. The treasures of the Mughal Empire were full to the brim. Mumtaz Mahal was the king's third and most beloved wife. The Taj Mahal is actually the mausoleum of the king's lovely wife, which he built with a large chow in his memory after his wife's death. Construction of the Taj Mahal began after Mumtaz's death in 1632 and was completed in 1653. It is said that the construction of the Taj Mahal cost about 32 million rupees and the empire became impoverished. For this reason, Shah Jahan's son Aurangzeb removed his father from the throne and took possession of it himself and put Shah Jahan in prison. From a window he could see the tomb of his beloved wife. The Taj Mahal was built by Ustad Ahmed Lahori and his excellent craftsmen. It is heard that after the construction of the palace, Shah Jahan had cut off the hands of all the artisans so that they could not build a building like this again. But this is a rumor that could not be confirmed. The Taj Mahal still stands today in Agra, India, with all its splendor. People from all over the world flock to India to see this monumental symbol of love.
3. Petra:
Located in southern Lebanon, this place is famous all over the world for its palaces cut through the mountains. Petra is also eaten by Rose City because the mountains it is carved out of are pink in color. These buildings were built by the "botanists" in 312 BC. Who lived in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria and present-day Israel. Now this place is the identity of Lebanon and is the biggest tourist destination there. The site remained hidden from the world for a long time, but was discovered in 1812 by a Swiss archaeologist, John Ludwig.
4. To lozenge:
Located in Rome, Italy. The building began construction in 70 AD and was completed in 80 AD. It is made entirely of concrete and rocks. Experts estimate that it could seat at least 50,000 to 80,000 people. The building was built for spectacular human-like battles. However in the 21st century it still stands in a state of disrepair. The building was destroyed by several earthquakes and stone thieves. The Colosseum was the hallmark of Great Rome. It is now Rome's largest tourist and historical center. The Colosseum, 610 feet long and 515 feet wide, covers approximately 6 acres. Its exterior walls are 157 feet high.
5. Chechen Atza:
The ancient city of Chechnya was founded in 600 AD by the Maya in the Mexican province of Yekatan. There are countless buildings here in their original condition. But many have been destroyed by earthquakes. This city was the largest city of the Maya civilization. The Chechen name Atza is actually the name of the Maya language which means at the mouth of the Atza well. In the Maya language, Atza is called the water magician. The city was the economic center of the Maya civilization. There were markets, bazaars and big buildings. About 1.5 million people come to Mexico every year to see it.
6-Machu Picchu:
Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of "Inca". Located in the province of Casco, Peru. 7970 feet above sea level, this city was built by Inca Raja Pechakoi between 1438 and 1472. It was the center of their civilization, but unfortunately their people had to leave the city almost a century later when the Spaniards started a war against the natives. Then for almost 5 centuries this city got lost in the pages of history. The city finally gained international fame in 1911 when the American historian Haram Bangham discovered it. Machu Picchu from Tab became very famous in the world of tourism. Since most of the city's buildings were destroyed, it was decided in 1976 to restore the city to its original condition so that visitors could understand its existence. This work is still ongoing.
7-Statue of Christ
This statue is not only in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but also one of the most famous places in the world. The total height of this statue is 125 feet. Two million tourists come to see this statue every year. Brazil's National Institute for Space Research told a local TV channel that lightning strikes the statue more than five times a year. The statue was inaugurated on October 12, 1931, on the summit of Mount Corcavedo in Rio The largest sculpture in the Art Deco style. It is one of the most famous landmarks in Brazil. The Art Deco movement began after World War I and lasted from 1930 to 1940. Later, World War II ended it.
